Java 17+ + AWS

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Spring Boot microservices using Java 17+.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication services.
• Work with AWS services like ECS, ECR, SQS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, RDS, and S3.
• Implement secure, scalable, and observable backend services.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using tools like JUnit and Mockito.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical design reviews, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: 7 to 10 years in Java development (with strong hands-on Spring Boot experience).

Technical Skills:

• Java, Spring Boot, REST API, Microservices
• AWS (ECS, S3, RDS, SQS, Secrets Manager)
• Docker, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Testing Frameworks JUnit, Mockito

Good to Have:

• Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC)
• API Gateway, OAuth2/JWT, Spring Security
• Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
• Location: Chennai (5 days work from office)
• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, collaboration, and problem-solving mindset.
