Jasper Reports Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex reports using Jaspersoft Studio Enterprise. Ensure reports meet business requirements and are optimized for performance and usability.
SQL Analysis: Work with Oracle DBMS and other data sources and use advanced SQL skills to analyse, troubleshoot complex queries.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business users to gather reporting requirements, provide demos, and deliver actionable insights through effective visualizations. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to demonstrate the relevant capabilities.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear documentation for report logic and development processes. Create user guides and training materials to enable self-service analytics for end-users.
Time Zone Alignment: Work in Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours (4:00 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST) to ensure real-time collaboration with global teams.
Quality Assurance and Troubleshooting: Validate developed reports / solutions to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to business requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during testing or production.
Work And Technical Experience
Must have skills:
Proficiency in Jaspersoft Studio Enterprise and JasperReports Server.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle DBMS.
Strong SQL skills for data analysis, debug reporting issues, for data extraction and manipulation.
Strong experience in developing interactive, visually appealing reports and dashboards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot data discrepancy issues.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Require minimal handholding and work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Familiarity with Java for JasperReports customization.
Experience with report performance tuning and optimization.
Exposure to Power BI and data visualization best practices.

Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / Agile methodologies to effectively plan and organize work activities for team execution.
Strong analytical skills to understand key business processes and the issues relating to them.
Domain knowledge in the Retail industry is a plus.
Qualification
BE Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or other technical disciplines.
3+ years industry relevant experience in Jasper projects (good to have).
