Role Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Japanese Sushi Chef in a full-time capacity at our Hyderabad location. This is an on-site role that involves preparing a variety of sushi dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation, maintaining high hygiene standards, and managing fresh ingredients. The role also includes interacting with customers when needed to provide a memorable dining experience, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing sushi and understanding of traditional Japanese culinary techniques
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper handling of fresh ingredients
- Attention to detail in plating and presentation to enhance the dining experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Previous experience as a sushi chef or in a similar role is preferred
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
- Formal culinary training in Japanese cooking is a plus
