WE'RE HIRING: Japanese Language Teacher

JLPT N5 & N4 Level | Remote | Full-Time

JWA Kihon is looking for a passionate and responsible Japanese Language Teacher to join our online learning program.

We are looking for someone who can not only teach grammar and vocabulary, but also keep students engaged, motivated, and consistent throughout their learning journey.

About the Role

As a Japanese Language Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Teaching JLPT N5 and N4 level Japanese to online student batches

• Conducting live online classes for multiple batches

• Preparing and delivering structured lessons using suitable teaching materials

• Uploading class recordings after each session

• Conducting weekly tests, revision sessions, and interactive activities

• Answering student queries related to class content

• Tracking attendance and supporting student progress

• Using presentations, examples, and practical teaching methods to make classes engaging

Work Structure

• Remote teaching role

• Full-time commitment

• Online live classes

• 5 batches to be handled

• Each batch will have approximately 15–20 students

• 2 classes per batch per week

• Each class duration: 2 hours

Requirements

• Minimum JLPT N3 certification

• JLPT N2 or N1 will be preferred

• Strong understanding of JLPT N5 and N4 grammar, vocabulary, kanji, reading, and listening

• Experience with textbooks such as Genki, Minna no Nihongo, or Irodori

• Good communication skills in Japanese, English, and Hindi

• Prior experience teaching

• Comfortable handling online batches of 15+ students

• Familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet, Excel, and basic online teaching tools

• Responsible, punctual, student-friendly, and professional

Technical Requirements

• Stable high-speed internet connection

• Good-quality laptop or desktop

• Working camera and clear audio setup

• Quiet and professional teaching environment

Compensation

₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Final compensation will depend on experience, teaching ability, communication skills, and role fit.
