Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Japanese Chef located in Delhi. The Japanese Chef will be responsible for preparing authentic Japanese cuisine, designing and innovating menus, supervising the kitchen team, and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. The role also entails maintaining proper hygiene and safety protocols within the kitchen and sourcing quality ingredients to maintain the authenticity of dishes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Japanese culinary techniques, menu creation, and food presentation
  • Experience working with traditional Japanese ingredients and preparing dishes like Teppanyaki, sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, etc.
  • Strong skills in kitchen management, team leadership, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Attention to detail and creativity in producing innovative and high-quality dishes
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in Japanese cuisine and culinary certifications preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
