J2EE Cloud Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled J2EE Cloud Lead to design and deliver enterprise-grade applications. This role involves leading development teams, architecting robust cloud-native solutions, and driving modernization initiatives using Java/J2EE and cutting-edge cloud technologies. The ideal candidate is a seasoned developer with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in cloud-based application development.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead development teams in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Drive modernization initiatives, guiding the transition of applications to cloud-based and microservices architectures.
• Work hands-on with microservices, containers, and various DevOps tools to ensure seamless development and deployment.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to overcome complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and resilient cloud solutions.

Skills

• Expertise in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices.
• Good knowledge of databases, including both RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor development teams.
• Cloud certifications are preferred.
• Exposure to serverless architectures is a plus.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular or React is an advantage.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
