Role: iWay Dev Specialist

Experience: 3–6 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Location: Hyderabad / Bengaluru / Chennai

Work Mode: Onsite

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8 Hours per Day

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced iWay Dev Specialist with strong hands-on experience in iWay Data Migrator, iWay Service Manager, Java, and API integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing migration solutions, integrating enterprise applications, supporting data migration activities, and ensuring reliable data movement across systems.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of enterprise integration, messaging systems, file transfer protocols, application migration, and data reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain migration scripts using iWay Data Migrator.
Create and manage configuration templates for iWay Data Migrator and iWay Service Manager.
Develop, configure, and support solutions using iWay Service Manager.
Migrate and remediate custom Java applications as part of application and data migration initiatives.
Develop and support API-based batch jobs and application integrations.
Design and implement integrations with enterprise messaging systems.
Work with Managed File Transfer (MFT) and SFTP integrations.
Develop scripts and utilities for data validation and reconciliation.
Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and migration activities.
Troubleshoot migration, integration, and application-related issues.
Support SIT, UAT, production testing, and defect resolution.
Analyze migration failures and implement appropriate fixes.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.
Prepare technical documentation, configuration details, and migration-related documents.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities.
Ensure solutions follow established coding, security, and integration standards.

Required Technical SkillsiWay Data Migrator

Strong hands-on experience with iWay Data Migrator (iWay DM).
Experience developing migration scripts and configuration templates.
Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, migration, and validation.
Ability to troubleshoot migration failures and data issues.

iWay Service Manager

Hands-on experience with iWay Service Manager (iWay SM).
Experience configuring and managing services.
Understanding of service configuration, integration flows, and deployment.
Ability to troubleshoot iWay services and integration issues.

Java

Good hands-on experience with Java.
Understanding of Java application development and troubleshooting.
Experience working with custom Java applications and application remediation.
Knowledge of Java-based batch processing is preferred.

API Integration

Strong understanding of REST APIs and API-based integrations.
Experience working with JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and web services.
Ability to integrate applications and services using APIs.
Experience troubleshooting API integration issues.

Messaging & Integration

Experience working with enterprise messaging systems.
Understanding of message-based integration and asynchronous communication.
Exposure to JMS, MQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies is preferred.

File Transfer & MFT

Hands-on experience with SFTP and file-based integrations.
Knowledge of Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
Experience handling file transfer, validation, processing, and error handling.

Data Migration & Reconciliation

Experience developing data migration and validation scripts.
Understanding of data reconciliation processes.
Ability to compare source and target data and identify discrepancies.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is preferred.

Testing & Production Support

Support unit testing, integration testing, SIT, and UAT.
Investigate and resolve defects identified during testing.
Provide production support for migration and integration processes.
Monitor application and integration workflows.
Troubleshoot failures and provide root-cause analysis.
Support deployment and release activities across environments.

Preferred Skills

Experience with enterprise application migration projects.
Knowledge of ETL and data transformation concepts.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Exposure to cloud-based application environments.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should:

Have 3–6 years of relevant IT experience.
Have strong hands-on experience with iWay Data Migrator and iWay Service Manager.
Have good knowledge of Java and API integration.
Have experience with enterprise integration and migration projects.
Possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Have good communication and collaboration skills.
Be comfortable working in an onsite environment.
Be available to work from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Chennai.
