Ivanti (Cherwell) Integration Engineer (offshore)
Duration: 23 weeks (short-term engagement)
Role Description
Responsible for designing and implementing a
bi-directional integration between Ivanti Service Management and ServiceNow Service Management. The integration will synchronize workflows, incidents, requests, tickets, and assignment to resolver groups across both platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise in APIs, data mapping, and ITSM process alignment.
Daily Responsibilities
- Analyze existing Ivanti and ServiceNow configurations and workflows
- Design integration architecture for bi-directional data exchange
- Configure and implement API-based integrations for incidents, requests, and tickets
- Map resolver groups and assignment rules between platforms
- Validate data integrity and workflow consistency during integration testing
- Conduct unit and UAT testing with client teams
- Document integration design, configuration steps, and operational runbooks
- Provide knowledge transfer to client technical teams for ongoing support
Expected Experience
- 10+ years in ITSM platforms
- 6+ years in ITSM platform development, preferably Ivanti, Cherwell, and ServiceNow
- 4+ years in Ivanti and/or ServiceNow integration projects
- Hands-on experience integrating Ivanti / Cherwell with other service management platforms
- Hands-on experience with Ivanti Service Manager and ServiceNow
- Strong background in REST APIs, JSON, and web services
- Proven track record of delivering complex integrations within tight timelines
Key Qualifications
- Expertise in Ivanti integration, configuration and administration
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow integration
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Request, Change)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for integration tasks
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Additional Qualifications
- Certifications: ITIL Foundation
- Familiarity with middleware tools (e.g., Integration Hub, iPaaS solutions)
- Ability to work independently and deliver under aggressive timelines
