Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an ITI Electronics Technician (Manufacturing & Assembly) based in Surat. The technician will assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic circuits and devices used in embedded and automation projects. Daily tasks include soldering components on PCBs, wiring electrical panels, performing routine inspections, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out maintenance and repair work on electronic equipment, and supporting the engineering team during prototyping and production runs. The technician will also document work performed, follow standard operating procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and product reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electronics Technology and Electricity for working with circuits, components, and electrical systems.
- Proficient Soldering skills for through-hole and surface-mount components and PCB assembly.
- Hands-on Troubleshooting abilities for identifying and resolving faults in electronic and electrical equipment.
- Experience with Maintenance & Repair of electronic devices, control panels, and embedded hardware.
- ITI certification in Electronics or a related trade; diploma in electronics is an added advantage.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of basic test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, soldering stations).
- Attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and ability to work accurately on small components.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and production staff.
- Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly, or industrial automation is preferred.
