Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Asset Governance and Compliance Lead to ensure enforcement of IT asset management policies, alignment with executive and regulatory expectations, and readiness for internal and external audits. This role is critical in mitigating legal risks and ensuring software licensing compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance Enforcement:- Develop, implement, and maintain ITAM governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Compliance Management:- Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal controls to prevent legal risks and financial penalties.
- Audit Readiness:- Monitor audit preparedness and lead internal and external audit engagements related to IT asset management.
- Policy Development:- Draft, review, and enforce IT asset policies and standards across hardware and software domains.
- Performance Monitoring:- Design and track KPIs for asset performance, contract utilization, vendor compliance, and software licensing efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment and transparency in asset governance.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum 10 years in IT Asset Management or related fields, with at least 7 years of relevant experience in ITAM governance, compliance, and ServiceNow platform usage.
- Proven ability to develop and implement ITAM governance processes and procedures.
- Deep understanding of software licensing models, regulatory compliance, and audit protocols. Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL, ISO/IEC 19770, COBIT, and NIST.
- Experience in drafting and enforcing IT asset policies and standards.
- Strong analytical skills to design and monitor KPIs and compliance metrics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
