Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Dhruva Space is seeking a proactive IT Systems Administrator to strengthen our IT Operations team and support a rapidly growing workforce. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations, delivering exceptional end-user support, and maintaining secure, scalable workplace infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows endpoint management, Google Workspace administration, cloud technologies, and IT automation, while helping drive operational excellence across the organization.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Manage and deploy Windows 10/11 endpoints using Google Credential Provider for Windows (GCPW) and Google Endpoint Management.
- Administer Google Workspace, including user provisioning, identity and access management, group policies, security configurations, and SaaS integrations.
- Manage the complete IT asset lifecycle, including device provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, inventory management, and lifecycle tracking.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, VPN services, cloud resources, and endpoint health.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security controls, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), BitLocker encryption, patch management, and compliance policies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and operational runbooks.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure upgrades, system deployments, and IT process improvements.
- Contribute to building a resilient and scalable IT environment by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or Enterprise IT Operations.
- Strong experience administering Windows 10/11 operating systems and enterprise endpoint management.
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace Administration and Google Credential Provider for Windows (GCPW) or Azure Active Directory.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience managing virtualized environments such as VMware or Hyper-V and exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Practical knowledge of endpoint security technologies, including MFA, BitLocker, antivirus solutions, and patch management.
- Experience writing automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a structured approach to incident resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively support both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
