About the Role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on technical troubleshooting, system support, and enterprise IT workflows.

In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to hardware troubleshooting, software support, networking, system administration, and IT operations, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world technical support challenges.

You will collaborate with global AI and operations teams to assess the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of AI-generated IT solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for technical assistance, troubleshooting, and enterprise support workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including troubleshooting workflows, system configurations, and support documentation
  • Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to IT support and technical operations
  • Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
  • Diagnose and solve real-world hardware, software, and networking issues to improve AI reasoning capabilities
  • Assess AI outputs for technical accuracy, usability, and operational effectiveness
  • Identify gaps, incorrect assumptions, or ineffective troubleshooting steps in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
  • Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on IT support and enterprise systems

Requirements

  • Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with system administration, enterprise tools, and IT support workflows
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, cloud platforms, or ticketing systems is preferred
  • Ability to critically evaluate technical solutions and troubleshooting processes
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
