Who are we looking for

Designation : IT Support Engineer
Experience Range : 3+ years

What is the work

• Monitor and respond to multiple IT support email accounts and helpdesk tickets throughout the working day, ensuring timely resolution, regular updates, and effective user communication.
• Provide end-user technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, including laptops, desktops, VPN, RDP, Microsoft 365, email, printers, internet connectivity, and website-related problems.
• Configure, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Windows PCs, Mac mini, and MacBook systems, including operating system installation, iOS/macOS updates, data backup, restoration, and hardware diagnostics.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot business applications and software, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, mobile applications, and other organization-approved software.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LAN connectivity, VLAN configuration, network loops, switch ports, internet connectivity, and overall network performance.
• Coordinate with hardware vendors, service providers, and OEM support teams for warranty claims, repairs, replacements, and issue resolution.
• Regularly monitor and manage all IT assets and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of systems across the organization.
• Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for internet connectivity, leased line management, bandwidth upgrades, and outage resolution.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, user accounts, access permissions, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle management of all IT assets, both physically and through asset management software.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, health checks, system updates, and security patch management to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Support new employee onboarding and employee offboarding activities, including system setup, account creation, access provisioning, and asset allocation/recovery.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT security policies, backup procedures, and standard operating processes.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members whenever required and track them until successful resolution.
