What's The Role

As an IT Supplier Management Analyst, you will succeed by taking ownership of end‑to‑end supplier management delivery in a global, virtual environment and turning complex information into clear, actionable insights for our stakeholders. You will build strong cross‑functional relationships, quickly adapt to different team dynamics, and confidently operate in a fast‑paced, multicultural, high‑tech setting. Relationship building with external suppliers and understanding the interest from other stakeholders whilst delivering value for Shell.

Success in this role is defined by your ability to create compelling, data‑driven PowerPoint presentations, develop requirements for complex analytical dashboards (e.g., Power BI), and produce high‑quality strategy documents, business plans, and executive materials. You will be comfortable working through ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and shifting focus as needed while maintaining sight of the bigger picture, managing risk, and supporting informed decision‑making across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create clear, compelling, and data‑driven PowerPoint presentations that translate complex information into executive‑ready insights with the ability to take better decisions around dilemmas with the right trade offs.
  • Provide end‑to‑end oversight of supplier management including delivery activities across a global, virtual operating model, ensuring coordination, alignment, and timely execution.
  • Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships across functions and regions to support effective collaboration and decision‑making.
  • Proactively take ownership of workstreams as a self‑starter, quickly understanding team dynamics and operating models.
  • Operate effectively within a complex, high‑tech, and multicultural corporate environment, adapting communication and approach as needed.
  • Gather, define, and document requirements for complex analytical and reporting solutions, including dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Power BI).
  • Produce high‑quality strategy documents, business plans, and executive materials, including Notes for Information and Notes for Discussion.
  • Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities with confidence, applying structured thinking and sound judgement.
  • Balance competing demands whilst calling them out, shift focus when required, and make timely decisions while maintaining oversight of the broader organizational goals, risks, and uncertainties.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; a Master's degree or advanced sourcing/procurement specialization is a plus.
  • 5 to 8 years of demonstrated experience in IT Supplier Management and Sourcing, including professional services, supplier relationship and performance management, risk assessment, and capability evaluation across large, complex spend portfolios.
  • Strong background in IT procurement and contract management, with the ability to structure effective commercial models, service‑level agreements, and mutually beneficial supplier arrangements.
  • Experience supporting external contractor sourcing at scale within enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels using data‑driven narratives and clear recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with experience translating data into actionable insights and informed decisions.
  • Solid understanding of commercial constructs and risk considerations, balanced with attention to detail and the ability to assess broader business impact.
  • Familiarity with key platforms such as SAP Fieldglass, Ariba/Agiloft, and ServiceNow. Ability to work with Co Pilot is a must have.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including interactions with senior leadership and external suppliers.
  • A proactive, inquisitive mindset with the ability to purposefully challenge assumptions, navigate ambiguity, and identify alternative paths forward.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills, emotional intelligence, and commitment to continuous learning.
