Job Description

Key Objective:

To take full responsibility for the efficient operation of the IT department, ensuring secure, stable, and optimized performance of all systems, while aligning with Six Senses service standards, LQA requirements, and exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Network & System Administration

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware.
  • Operate master consoles to monitor system and network performance and coordinate access and usage.
  • Perform routine startup and shutdown procedures, ensuring accurate maintenance of control records.
  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems.
  • Recommend and implement system improvements, identifying required hardware or software changes.
  • Continuously monitor network performance, proactively identifying and implementing necessary adjustments.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Assist in training, supervising, scheduling, and motivating the IT team (IT Hosts).
  • Apply positive discipline when necessary to maintain professionalism and performance standards.
  • Support team members and allocate manning according to operational needs.
  • Manage daily duties and job assignments, ensuring smooth departmental function.

Standards & Compliance

  • Uphold and ensure adherence to Six Senses guidelines, brand values, and standards of service.
  • Ensure compliance with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards and proactively respond to guest comments and feedback.
  • Ensure all IT operations align with hotel protocols, data privacy policies, and cybersecurity best practices.

Performance Expectations:

  • Maintain and exceed performance benchmarks related to system uptime, guest support, and service efficiency.
  • Provide high-level support to staff and guests, resolving technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support hotel operations by ensuring technology availability and reliability at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar IT Supervisor role within luxury hotels or resorts.
  • In-depth knowledge of network systems, security protocols, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong technical skills in hardware, software, and operating system configurations.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional service, guest satisfaction, and brand excellence.
