Department Overview

Subscription PO team is the conduit between IT and Business and is responsible for demand planning, requirements/scope definition for initiatives and also ensuring the solutions meet requirements.

Job Description

As the IT Subscriptions Product Owner, you will be a pivotal leader, driving the strategy and future direction of our subscription ecosystem through industry thought leadership. You will be instrumental in defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring our subscription platform delivers significant value to our customers and stakeholders. Beyond traditional product ownership, this role demands you act as a strategic partner and innovator, challenging the status quo and identifying new opportunities in the recurring revenue landscape.

You will act as the voice of the customer and key stakeholder for one or more Agile development teams, focusing on maximizing the value of the product. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business acumen in recurring revenue models and technical knowledge of IT systems for billing, provisioning, and customer lifecycle management, combined with a proven ability to influence business strategy.

Basic Requirements

Required Skills

• Product & Business:Strategic Thought Leadership, Subscription Lifecycle Management, Recurring Revenue Models, Product Roadmap development, Value-driven prioritization, Customer-centricity.

• Technical: Agile/Scrum/Kanban proficiency, Experience with Subscription Management/Billing Platforms (e.g. Oracle Subscription Cloud, Zuora etc). Ability to understand process flows, system integration, and data flows.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional Communication (written and verbal) , Strategic Influence & Stakeholder Management , Analytical and Problem-Solving skills , Decisive Decision-Making , Leadership without authority.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment. Specific experience working on B2B or B2C subscription products, billing systems, or e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Tools: Proficiency with collaboration and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
