Position: IT- Staff Systems Engineer

Location: Noida/Bangalore

Grade: IT4

Role Overview: A Salesforce Developer extends Salesforce functionality with custom code to implement company-specific business rules, logic, and workflows. They collaborate with Salesforce admins and other roles to build custom functionality that supports various programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs

  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC application

  • Use JavaScript-specific design patterns and combine JavaScript with CSS, HTML, and other markup languages.

  • Develop custom applications and performing unit testing using Salesforce.com APEX , Visual force pages , LWC, Batch programs

  • Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues

  • Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions

  • Perform data migration using Salesforce.com Data Loader

  • Perform ongoing Salesforce administration (create accounts / profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.) and development

  • Ability to support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, flows, approvals

  • Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions

  • Maintain security for Salesforce.com data

  • Interface with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products

  • Research integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staff

  • Research and development of new Salesforce.com prototypes and applications

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications

  • Participate and engage in all team meetings

  • Document best practices and operational procedures

  • Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Minimum 8+ software development experience

  • Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, Administrator, AI Associate/Specialist.

  • Should have solid experience in Salesforce Lightning development

  • Hands on experience with Salesforce.com web service, WSDL, SOQL & SOSL, Apex and related

  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and jQuery,.

  • Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud, LWR framework or other collaboration tools.

  • Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.

  • 3+ years experience in SFDC service cloud and/or SFDC Customer Community with technical implementation and day-to-day operations.

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills and confident in presenting technical solution to business

  • Experience documenting technical design

  • Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from an operational and technical perspective.

  • Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed.
