IT Specialist - Network

The Person is responsible for providing a stable, reliable and secure IT network environment.

To be the technical expert and project leader of medium to large projects related to Network (Active & Passive).

To explore, recommend and adopt new technologies to benefit the organization.

Ensures that infrastructure tasks required for a successful implementation of projects take place. This includes the implementation of a solution design which has been developed by Global IT Team.

How you create impact

• Understand the business requirements and design the complete network infrastructure (both Active & Passive) himself
• Basis the high-level requirements, do the Heatmapping for wireless network with zero blind spots.
• Establish pro-active monitoring mechanisms on servers and network, monitor performance bottlenecks, e.g. hardware / bandwidthresources and to leaddiscussionswithregional IT team or external vendors for solutions.
• Coordinate with 3^rd Party vendors to define the scope of work.
• Monitor and Manage the IT service provider to ensure that agreed service levels are reached.
• Documentation of Infrastructure design, network layout and IT Asset inventory (pre & post) stages of the projects.
• Responsible for the successful implementation of the project, that includes management of resources, deadlines, budget and agreed deliverables.
• Ensure quality of implemented IT infrastructure and compliance as per company policies.
• Analyze and identify project risks and perform permanent risk management including timely communication to the relevant stakeholder.
• Upskill the other team members on the best practices

What we would like you to bring

• 4-8 years of experience in Network Infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, HP, Aruba, and/or Extreme networking solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi, Access Points, Switches, Routers, and SD-WAN.
• Experience in network design, implementation, and support.
• Proven track record in office, retail, or warehouse network setup projects.
• Ability to perform wireless site surveys and heat mapping.
• Experience managing vendors and coordinating project delivery.
• Knowledge of network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Minimum two networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
