This Position reports to:

IS Compliance and Service Continuity Manager for Technology & Platforms


Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization's vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will define, manage, and monitor processes to meet requirements for Information Systems (IS) services by planning, measuring, and improving all aspects of IS services. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge processes, to contribute to enhancing organizational effectiveness.

the ABB IT Service Continuity framework by coordinating with key stakeholders such as application owners , managers and service owners to ensure they adhere to the standards. The role involves conducting awareness activities, performing follow-ups, and preparing reports. Additionally, the analyst will assist in maintaining and improving the ITSCM process to achieve the appropriate maturity level.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Coordination and follow ups: Track and follow up on IT Service continuity plans, test progress at remote locations, and remediation actions. Support application managers with any questions related to the ITSCM process. Ensure timely updates from application owners on Business impact assessment statuses for their applications.

  • Awareness and Training: Deliver awareness sessions on Business Impact Assessment and Disaster Recovery Assessment for applications in CESAR tool. Develop educational materials such a presentations, process documents to enhance understanding of ITSCM principles, roles and procedures.

  • Reporting Dashboard: Maintain ITSCM dashboard for the Disaster recovery protection level of the applications across Business area. Create and maintain trackers to support follow-up activities with application managers. Maintain and update existing trackers for ITSCM-managed applications and remote sites, as well as SaaS and PaaS DR test schedules, ensuring recoverability capabilities, compliance statuses, and security exceptions are kept up to date.

  • Management reporting and Presentations: Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations and summary reports for management meetings and governance committees (ad-hoc).

  • Documentation and Process Support: Regularly review and update ITSCM process documents to ensure they remain up to date. Track and update the process in Adonis, and participate in process maturity assessments as needed (ad hoc).

Qualifications for the role:

  • You have experience (2-3+ years) in IT Service Continuity, Business Continuity, or Disaster Recovery within a mid‑to‑large enterprise environment.

  • Solid understanding of the ITIL framework, especially IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), with ITIL Foundation certification required.

  • Practical experience supporting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments, test planning, and execution of continuity exercises.

  • Knowledge of ISO 22301 or similar continuity/compliance standards and familiarity with process documentation and audit support.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

  • You are at ease communicating in English.
