About the Role
LINQ Corporate Solutions is a global market research and events firm delivering 125+ conferences across 34 cities in 14 countries. We are looking for an experienced IT Server & Infrastructure Specialist to own and manage our three-server global topology (Ashburn USA · Nuremberg EU · Helsinki EU Failover) and deployment infrastructure for 500+ websites per year.
What You'll Do
- Provision, harden, and maintain Linux servers across US and EU data centres
- Deploy and manage websites end-to-end using Coolify (self-hosted PaaS)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions for 500 websites/year
- Manage Cloudflare — CDN, WAF, DDoS protection, DNS, and domain management
- Configure BetterUptime monitoring, alerting, and incident response runbooks
- Maintain PostgreSQL connectivity, Backblaze B2 backups, and restore procedures
- Apply security hardening — UFW/iptables, fail2ban, SSH, vulnerability scanning
- Ensure GDPR compliance at the infrastructure level (EU servers)
- Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for automation and deployments
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of hands-on Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Debian preferred)
- Experience with Coolify, Dokku, CapRover, or equivalent self-hosted PaaS
- Strong GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline experience
- Cloudflare, SSL/TLS, and domain management proficiency
- PostgreSQL administration and backup management
- Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- 24×7 on-call availability for critical infrastructure incidents
