Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT & SAP professional to lead enterprise-wide SAP applications and IT operations. The role involves managing SAP ECC / S/4HANA systems, overseeing IT infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity and compliance, and driving digital transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Applications Management
- Lead end-to-end support, maintenance, and enhancements of SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Drive functional excellence across SAP modules: MM, SD, PP (mandatory), with exposure to FI and PM.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, SAP partners, and technical teams.
- Ensure system stability, performance optimization, and effective change management practices.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement.
2. IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, endpoints, backups, and disaster recovery systems.
- Manage Microsoft 365 ecosystem, email security, endpoint protection, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of IT systems.
- Handle vendor management, AMC contracts, IT procurement, and software license renewals.
3. Governance, Security & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards, internal audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Define and implement IT governance frameworks, data security policies, and access controls.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and business continuity planning.
- Strengthen cybersecurity posture and ensure proactive threat management.
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT & SAP team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and external auditors.
- Translate business needs into scalable IT and SAP solutions.
- Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- SAP Expertise: MM, SD, PP (mandatory); FI and PM (preferred)
- Platforms: SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud exposure preferred)
- IT Domains: Infrastructure, Networking, Cloud, Microsoft 365, Cybersecurity
- Project Management: SAP implementation, migration, rollout, and AMS support
- Leadership: Team management, vendor management, stakeholder engagement
- Industry Experience: Manufacturing / Engineering / Industrial sector preferred
