IT SAP Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Supply chain module implementation and support across ETO manufacturing projects.
• Configure and customize SAP MM components including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, and Material Master.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
• Design and implement procurement strategies for project-specific materials and services.
• Manage vendor master data, source lists, and procurement info records.
• Support material requirement planning (MRP) and subcontracting processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Conduct workshops, training, and UAT with business stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications, test cases, and user manuals.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP MM implementation experience, with at least 1 full-cycle ETO manufacturing projects.
• Deep understanding of ETO procurement models, project-based material planning, and WBS-linked purchasing.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of integration points with MM, FICO, PP, SD, and PS modules.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience with Fiori apps, Ariba, or SRM.
• Exposure to GST compliance, vendor evaluation, and contract management.
• UI/UX & Design: Balsamiq, Figma, Visily, HTML / CSS.
• Productivity & DevOps: Jira, Azure DevOps.
