Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Using your knowledge of the market and contacts in the industry, identify and develop new customers and new external selling partners.
  • Develop, drive, manage and support external selling partners as necessary. This would include providing training and sales support.
  • Act as marketer/business developer/salesperson of DataFirst for example at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings.
  • Manage all direct and external-channel leads and opportunities and ensure that all data is kept up-to-date. Produce projections based on intimate knowledge of customer s demand.
  • Chart out and monitor sales proposals and tenders (e.g. quantity, margin, product/system), and follow up statistics concerning sales proposals.
  • Meet annual sales targets, both for numbers of new opportunities and overall revenue.
  • Run the negotiations with customers over content, price and Terms & Conditions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Daily MIS Preparation and Reporting to Management.
  • Travel is estimated to be about 50% nationally.
