Location: Bangalore (Onsite) Experience: 1–5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Kaygen Global Services is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented IT Recruiter with hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment for Engineering and Automotive industry requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, salary negotiation, offer follow-up, and onboarding support for IT and engineering professionals across automotive software, embedded systems, electronics, mechanical, electrical, and related technical domains. This role requires strong communication skills, a good understanding of engineering and automotive hiring trends, effective sourcing capability, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. End-to-End IT, Engineering & Automotive Recruitment
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for IT, engineering, and automotive staffing requirements.
  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, vendor networks, social media, and internal databases.
  • Screen, shortlist, and assess candidates based on technical skills, domain exposure, experience, communication, notice period, compensation expectations, and role fit.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers/clients.
  • Handle salary negotiation, offer discussion, and onboarding coordination.
  • Ensure timely closures while maintaining quality standards and client expectations.

  1. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Management
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT, engineering, and automotive professionals across embedded, automotive software, electronics, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and related domains.
  • Utilize platforms such as Naukri, LinkedIn, employee referrals, vendor networks, social media, and internal databases for sourcing suitable candidates.
  • Conduct passive candidate outreach and talent mapping for niche engineering, automotive, embedded systems, AUTOSAR, ADAS, EV, and software skill requirements.
  • Maintain updated candidate records and recruitment trackers in ATS/CRM systems.
  • Develop talentpools for recurring and priority client requirements.
  1. Client & Candidate Coordination
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Delivery Leads, and internal stakeholders to understand job requirements, hiring priorities, and client expectations.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure strong candidate engagement and positive candidate experience.
  • Communicate effectively regarding interview feedback, onboarding documents, and joining formalities.
  • Build long-term relationships with candidates for future opportunities.
  1. Recruitment Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure recruitment activities are aligned with company policies and client compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy in candidate submissions, documentation, and reporting.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as submissions, interviews, placements, and closures.
  • Prepare daily/weekly recruitment status reports and pipeline updates.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment efficiency and turnaround time
  1. Team Collaboration & Performance Management
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment teams and business stakeholders to achieve hiring goals.
  • Work in a target-driven environment with focus on delivery and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on current IT, engineering, and automotive market trends, emerging technologies, talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring practices.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharingand best recruitment practices within the team.

  1. Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 1–5 years of experience in IT recruitment, engineering recruitment, automotive hiring, domestic staffing, contract staffing, or permanent hiring.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes for IT, engineering, and automotive roles, including sourcing, candidate screening, notice period evaluation, compensation discussion, and offer follow-up.
  • Hands-on experience working with sourcing platforms and ATS tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
  • Good understanding of IT technologies, engineering functions, and automotive technical hiring requirements such as embedded systems, automotive software, testing, electronics, mechanical, and electrical engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and recruitment trackers.

  1. Preferred Attributes
  • Experience working with direct clients, internal delivery teams, implementation partners, OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, engineering service providers, or staffing requirements for engineering and automotive roles.
  • Ability to work on niche and high-volume IT requirements simultaneously.
  • Strong sourcing capability for technologies and domains such as Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, Data Engineering, Embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR, ADAS, EV, MATLAB/Simulink, CAN, UDS, HIL/SIL testing, mechanical design, electrical systems, and automotive electronics.
  • Prior experience handling domestic hiring across IT, engineering, automotive, contract staffing, C2H, and permanent hiring models preferred.
