Role: IT Project Manager – LIMS 4.0 Upgrade, Single Instance Consolidation & SAP Integration

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale LIMS 4.0 Upgrade, Single Instance Consolidation, and SAP Integration program across multiple manufacturing sites in India.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing implementation partners, and ensuring successful delivery of project milestones, validation activities, system integration, cutover, and go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integrated project plan covering LIMS 4.0 upgrade, single-instance consolidation, SAP integration, validation, UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
- Coordinate with implementation partners, internal IT teams, QA, QC, CSV teams, and business stakeholders across multiple India sites.
- Develop and maintain the master project plan, milestone tracker, project dashboard, RAID log, decision log, action tracker, and escalation tracker.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive timely resolution of issues.
- Manage site readiness activities, including:
- Master data readiness
- QA/QC readiness
- SOP preparation
- User training
- UAT/PQ execution
- Go-live readiness
- Coordinate SAP–LIMS integration activities, including:
- Material master readiness
- Test code/MIC alignment
- Interface testing
- SIT/UAT coordination
- Cutover dependencies
- Track Computer System Validation (CSV) deliverables, including:
- Validation Plan
- Risk Assessment
- IQ/OQ/PQ execution
- Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Validation Summary Reports
- Deviation and CAPA management
- Documentation review and approval status
- Plan and manage cutover activities, go/no-go reviews, issue triage, and post-go-live hypercare support.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, vendor meetings, steering committee reviews, and executive reporting.
- Provide weekly status updates, executive dashboards, and progress reports to senior leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 8+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-wide IT implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience delivering LIMS implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
- Experience with SAP integration projects.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project governance.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, implementation partners, and business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) processes, including IQ/OQ/PQ and GxP validation documentation.
- Strong experience with project planning, risk management, dependency management, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
- Exposure to laboratory applications and quality systems.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP and LIMS platforms such as Caliber LIMS.
