KeyResponsibilities:
PMO ProcessImplementation & Improvement
- Design, implement, and continuously improve IT project management processes and templates across the full lifecycle (intake, feasibility, charter, planning, execution, closeout).
- Support project intake, demand prioritization, and resource alignment processes.
- Establish best practices for status reporting, risk management, change control, and milestone tracking.
- Help standardize the use of PM tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
ProjectSupport & Execution
- Act as project manager for select small-to-medium sized IT initiatives to stay connected with business needs and IT capabilities.
- Facilitate project planning workshops, status meetings, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
Governance& Reporting
- Track project performance against defined KPIs and support portfolio reporting to IT leadership.
- Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned to feed into continuous improvement.
- Help establish governance cadence (steering committees, dashboards, stage-gates).
Qualifications:
- 5 years of IT project management experience in a PMO or IT delivery setting.
- Proven success delivering technology initiatives in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Experience with project tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.
- Strong understanding of project financials, business case development, and risk management.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred but not required.
