Job Description: IT Project Management – Project Manager

Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with 12–15 years of experience in managing large-scale IT application development, infrastructure, cloud, and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in project delivery, stakeholder management, Agile methodologies, budgeting, risk management, and team leadership. The candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end IT project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring successful delivery within timelines and budgets, and maintaining high-quality standards aligned with business objectives.

Required Technical Skills

    • 12–15 years of IT industry experience with strong project management expertise.
    • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
    • Experience managing Cloud, Web, Enterprise, and API-based applications.
    • Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
    • Knowledge of application architecture and infrastructure environments.
    • Familiarity with databases, integrations, and enterprise systems.
    • Proven track record of delivering enterprise IT projects successfully.
    • Experience managing distributed/global teams.
    • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as:
    • Jira.
    • Confluence.
    • Microsoft Project.
    • Azure DevOps.
    • ServiceNow.
    • Microsoft Teams.
    • Preferred Certifications:
    • PMP certification from Project Management Institute.
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
    • SAFe Agile Certification.
    • ITIL Certification (preferred).
    • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
    • Negotiation and conflict-resolution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery:

    • Manage complete project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
    • Define project scope, goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
    • Ensure successful delivery of IT projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
    • Monitor project progress and address deviations proactively.
Stakeholder Management

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and leadership.
    • Act as the primary contact for project communication and status reporting.
    • Conduct governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and client discussions.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure business alignment.
Team Leadership

    • Should have handled a team between 15 to 20 resources.
    • Lead cross-functional teams including Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps, Architects, Business Analysts, and Scrum teams.
    • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams.
    • Foster collaboration, accountability, and high-performance culture.
    • Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for smooth project execution.
Agile & SDLC Management

    • Drive Agile/Scrum practices and ensure successful sprint execution.
    • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
    • Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and delivery governance.
    • Manage project documentation and release management activities.
Risk & Issue Management

    • Identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and project issues.
    • Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
    • Handle escalations and critical production issues effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and security policies.
Budget & Resource Management

    • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization.
    • Track resource utilization and project financials.
    • Coordinate vendor management and third-party engagements.
    • Ensure optimal allocation of technical resources.
