IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. As the IT Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all technology-related products and services for the bank. This is a full-time position located in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for technology products and services in line with the bank's overall business objectives
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors and negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure the best value for the bank
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide guidance on procurement processes and best practices
  • Monitor and track vendor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and service level agreements
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of products and services
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and vendor performance to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
