Role & responsibilities
- IT Procurement Network Hardware, Servers/Storage, Telecom & Data Links, Software, peripherals, Laptops/Desktops, printers, etc.
- Prioritize and lead strategic negotiations with vendors
- Negotiation
- Vendor Development and Relation management
- Global and Local Sourcing
- Customer/Stakeholder Management
- Cost Optimization, Reduction & Pricing
- Team Player
- Tendering / Sourcing
- Contract drafting / understanding
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 2 to 5 years previous procurement experience
- Must have knowledge of IT Procurement for the categories Network Hardware, Servers/Storage, Telecom & Data Links- Internet, P2P, MPLS, Software, peripherals, Laptops/Desktops, printers, etc.
- Experience of working in relevant industry an advantage
- Experience in dealing with some of the major suppliers Cisco, Juniper, Lenovo, HP, Dell, Tata, Reliance Jio, Airtel, Adobe, VmWare, Oracle, etc
