World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for an IT Ops Support Engineer (Hybrid Contract) role at Bengaluru

Position: IT Ops Support Engineer

Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid 2 days Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months with high possibility of extensions

UK timings 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM or 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Job Description

Key Requirements:

1. Basic Understanding of Network & Security Devices

Basic understanding of routers, firewalls, load balancers.

Familiarity with vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet.

No direct device access expected.

Familiarity with common network security hardware and their functions.

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
2. Strong skills in using VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic Macros for data analysis and reporting.
3. Basic Scripting Knowledge (Preferred)
4. Exposure to scripting languages for automation will be considered an added advantage.
5. Experience with Ticketing Tools
6. Ability to raise, update, and manage ticket statuses effectively within IT service management platforms.

Preferred tools: ServiceNow and Jira.

1. Understanding of Change Management Processes
2. Knowledge of standard change procedures and compliance requirements.
