IT Operations Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Operations Executive to support and manage day-to-day operations of our general insurance website portal and mobile applications (Android & iOS). The role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting operational issues, analyzing data, and coordinating with development and business teams to ensure smooth digital platform operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of website and mobile app workflows, working knowledge of SQL, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily operations of the insurance website portal and mobile applications (Android & iOS)
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues related to performance, functionality, and user experience
  • Perform root cause analysis of incidents and coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for resolution
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve operational issues
  • Analyze operational data and generate reports using SQL queries
  • Track and monitor system logs, transactions, and integrations with third-party systems
  • Support deployment activities, releases, and environment coordination
  • Oversee deployments and release management
  • Ensure uptime, availability, and optimal performance of digital platforms
  • Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and incident reports
  • Automate operational processes and improve system reliability
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for issue resolution and process improvements
  • Provide timely updates and communication to management and business teams
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for system stability and efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of website and mobile application workflows
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting
  • Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Perform advanced SQL-based data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with incident management and operational support processes
  • Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and system monitoring tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the insurance or BFSI domain
  • Exposure to production support or IT operations roles
  • Knowledge of web technologies and mobile app ecosystems
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
