About The Role
We are looking for a proactive IT and Network Support Engineer who can handle end-user IT support along with foundational network infrastructure support.The role requires balanced knowledge of IT operations and networking, ensuring smooth day-to-day system performance and reliable connectivity across the organization.This position is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who want hands-on exposure to real IT environments and enterprise-level networking under senior guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in configuring, installing, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Support LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi connectivity troubleshooting.
Monitor network performance, latency, and connectivity issues and report/escalate when required.
Assist with basic firewall checks, access control, and network security practices.
Maintain network documentation, IP addressing details, and configuration records.
Provide technical support to office-based and remote employees for hardware, software, and OS-related issues.
Troubleshoot laptop/desktop performance problems such as slow systems, startup delays, crashes, and application issues.
Perform RAM upgrades, SSD replacement, and peripheral troubleshooting.
Diagnose and resolve Windows OS errors, driver issues, and update failures, with basic exposure to Linux/Ubuntu.
Manage IT asset inventory, allocation, returns, and documentation.
Provide remote troubleshooting using tools like AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or similar.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair, replacement, and warranty support.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Basic to intermediate understanding of:
Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VLAN
Routing, switching, and wireless networking concepts
Firewalls and basic network security
Hands-on troubleshooting of Windows systems.
Knowledge of hardware components (RAM, SSD, HDD, peripherals).
Understanding of IT asset management and remote support tools.
Willingness to learn, grow, and work in a hands-on IT environment.
Educational Qualification
Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
Hardware & Networking certification/course is a plus (not mandatory).
