Key Responsibilities:
Network & Infrastructure Management
- Manage and support LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot L1, L2, and L3 networking issues.
- Hands-on experience with network switches (managed/unmanaged), routers, and firewalls.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, availability, and security.
- Identify and resolve connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues.
VPN & Security
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
- Implement basic network security practices and firewall rules.
- Assist in maintaining access control and network segmentation (VLANs).
Wi-Fi & End-User Support
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity, access point configuration, and coverage issues.
- Provide desktop, laptop, and peripheral support when required.
- Handle user issues related to network access, email, VPN, and system connectivity.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the first point of contact for client IT/network-related issues.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients.
- Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for issue resolution.
- Provide regular updates on issue status and resolution timelines.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
- Document incidents, changes, and resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to company IT policies and security standards.
