Job Overview
This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, and operations to ensure optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction. The candidate will lead IT strategy, manage resources, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring SLA adherence and cost efficiency. It also involves strengthening data security, disaster recovery, and aligning technology initiatives with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing overall information technology, computer systems & all network related activities to improve infrastructure costs, performance and end user satisfaction
- Responsible for planning and managing computer operations and production support, systems and database administration and network operations
- Ensure system performance and SLAs are met
- Manage IT resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands
- Implement IT continuous improvement programs
- Participate in the budget process
- Lead IT asset management team to ensure assets full lifetime cycle value is achieved
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Auditing systems and assess their outcomes & running the security patches
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Configuring & managing the user policy w.r.t IT
- Responsible for administering disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis
- Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network
- Monitor changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter
- Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs
- Determine the rationale and methods for upgrading company network software programs each time an update is released
- Should work towards making the company network secure from time to time.
- Should work towards IT infra security.
Qualifications And Requirements
- At least 8-12 years of IT experience including managing teams responsible for architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
- Strong management and people development skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
- Must be a good problem solver
- Must have good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Must be good with networking & IT infrastructure setup
Educational Certifications
Bachelors/Masters Degree in IT or relevant field.
