Role Summary
The Manager IT is responsible for overseeing end-to-end IT operations, including IT procurement, helpdesk support, infrastructure management, and network administration. The role also drives IT strategy, ensures system reliability and security, and provides actionable management reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Helpdesk Management
- Lead and manage IT helpdesk operations ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and service quality metrics.
- Implement ticketing systems and automation to improve support efficiency.
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and endpoint support.
2. IT Infrastructure & Network Management
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, cloud, endpoints).
- Manage enterprise networks including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and internet connectivity (ILL).
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems.
- Drive infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness.
3. IT Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, and services.
- Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage SLAs.
- Maintain IT asset lifecycle management (procurement, allocation, tracking, disposal).
- Optimize IT spend and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
4. IT Strategy & Governance
- Define and implement IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Drive digital transformation, automation, and adoption of new technologies.
- Establish IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Security & Risk Management
- Implement and monitor IT security controls (endpoint, network, data security).
- Conduct periodic risk assessments, vulnerability management, and audits.
- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
6. Management Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and present IT dashboards and reports to leadership.
- Track KPIs such as system uptime, ticket resolution time, IT spend, and asset utilization.
- Provide insights for cost optimization and performance improvement.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and IT financial planning.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 812 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and network management.
- Proven experience in managing IT teams and vendors.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
