IT Infrastructure manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager IT Infrastructure to join the Siemens Mobility Datacenter & Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects related to network architecture, data center design, and infrastructure deployment, along with excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, system administrators, and external vendors to define requirements and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established milestones.
• Identify potential project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review project status, gather feedback, and drive decisions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project charters, schedules, risk registers, and post-implementation reports.
• Ensure project compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and relevant industry standards.
• Promote continuous improvement, effective communication, and collaboration within project teams.
• Provide regular progress reports and status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 710 years of overall experience in network and data center infrastructure, with at least 3+ years in project management.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects related to network architecture, data center design, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of network technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with data center operations, including server virtualization, storage systems, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent project management capabilities planning, budgeting, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on timely delivery.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
