Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient IT Infrastructure Manager / Lead to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, network systems, cloud environment, cybersecurity, and end-user support operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, security, and scalability of IT systems while supporting business objectives and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in infrastructure management, network administration, cloud technologies, and IT security, along with the ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Ensure maximum uptime, availability, and performance of IT systems.
- Monitor infrastructure health and proactively resolve issues.
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology enhancements.
Network Administration
- Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity, and network security solutions.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal utilization.
Cloud & Security Management
- Administer cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity measures including endpoint protection, access controls, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT security policies and standards.
- Support IT audits and security reviews.
IT Operations & User Support
- Oversee IT support activities and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and access management processes.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Ensure smooth functioning of collaboration and productivity tools.
Vendor & AMC Management
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, support, and maintenance activities.
- Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and support agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and service delivery.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Ensure regular backups of critical systems and data.
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing activities.
- Maintain business continuity procedures related to IT infrastructure.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset records, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, Microsoft Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Management.
- Experience managing Windows and Linux environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience in managing firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT security and endpoint management.
- Experience supporting multi-location environments is preferred.
