About the Role
CH Jewelers is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Hardware Support Executive to manage and support the organization's hardware infrastructure across retail operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting computer hardware, networking devices, printers, and POS systems while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other IT hardware.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Provide technical support to store and office employees.
Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
Manage hardware inventory, asset tracking, and warranty records.
Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
Install and update operating systems, antivirus software, and other applications.
Support POS systems and peripheral devices used in retail operations.
Perform routine system health checks and preventive maintenance.
Ensure data backup procedures and basic IT security practices are followed.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
Basic networking knowledge (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
Hands-on experience with printers, scanners, and POS devices.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Good communication and user-support skills.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant hardware and networking certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
1–2 years of experience in IT Hardware Support, Desktop Support, or System Support.
Experience working in retail, jewelry, or multi-location environments is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
