Executive manages an organization's technology, aligning IT strategy with business goals through system oversight, project leadership, budget management, staff guidance, and ensuring data security and operational efficiency, often involving infrastructure maintenance, new tech implementation, and cross-departmental collaboration. Key duties include strategy development, budget control, security protocols, team leadership, and ensuring IT infrastructure supports overall objectives, demanding strong leadership and technical skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and roadmaps to support business goals and digital transformation.Infrastructure Management: Oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, software, hardware, and system performance.Security & Compliance: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations, managing backups and disaster recovery.Project Leadership: Manage IT projects, system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.Budget & Resources: Manage IT budgets, optimize resource allocation, and coordinate with vendors.Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and leadership to IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to understand needs and align technology solutions with business objectives.Technical Support: Oversee helpdesk functions and ensure timely resolution of user issues. Essential Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.Proven experience in IT management, project management, and system administration.Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and databases.Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.Familiarity with IT frameworks (like ITIL) and relevant software/hardware.
