IT Engineer - Infrastructure

This is a full-time on-site position for an IT Engineer - Infrastructure at Metrohm India Private Limited, located in Chennai. The role involves maintaining and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, overseeing server and network support, ensuring data security, and handling troubleshooting procedures. You will also assist in supporting desktop systems, coordinating with vendors for hardware or software solutions, and ensuring compliance with IT policies and standards.

• Strong knowledge of server management, network administration, and hardware troubleshooting
• Proficiency in implementing and managing IT security solutions
• Experience with desktop support, operating systems, and software application installations
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure best practices and standards, including designing and maintaining networks
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Prior experience with cloud technologies or certifications in IT infrastructure management is a plus
