Key Responsibilities:

• nd to end mainframe testing activities for COBOL based applications including test planning design execution and reporting
• Analyze business and technical requirements to define comprehensive test scenarios test cases and data requirements for mainframe systems
• Coordinate and oversee system integration regression and user acceptance testing for mainframe components
• Collaborate with development architecture and business teams to identify defects troubleshoot issues and drive timely resolutions
• Ensure test coverage for batch jobs online transactions file processing and database interactions in mainframe environments
• Implement and enforce testing standards best practices and quality metrics appropriate for 5 15 years of experience at a lead level
• Mentor and guide junior testers providing technical leadership in mainframe testing techniques and tools
• Participate in impact analysis for change requests and releases estimating testing effort and planning resources accordingly
• Prepare clear test reports defect metrics and status updates for stakeholders and management
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes including test optimization reusability and risk based testing approaches

Technical Requirements:

• Primary skills Technology Functional Testing Mainframe testing
