IT Data Analyst

We are seeking an IT Data Analyst to join a leading biopharmaceutical solutions organization. This role is crucial for ensuring data quality, managing data pipelines, and providing operational support within our IT environment, focusing on accelerating customer success and streamlining our work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Write and understand complex SQL queries, including joins and CTEs, to extract and manipulate data.
• Manage and monitor data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Understand the integration with Veeva CRM and Salesforce.
• Ensure data quality checks and business level checks in data pipelines of ADF and Databricks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data and pipeline-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data delivery within committed SLAs.
• Possess a strong understanding of Azure DevOps and Release processes (Dev to Ops Handover).
• Work in different EST shifts (11:30 am IST - 8:30 pm IST and 4:30 pm IST - 2:30 am IST).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and other technical members to provide operational activities related to services.
• Maintain strong documentation skills.

Skills Required

• Full-Time bachelor's degree in engineering/technology, computer science, IT, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting.
• Must have Azure DP-203 Certified.
• Databricks Related certifications would be preferable.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Primary Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Dedicated SQL Pools, SQL, Python/PySpark.
• Secondary Technologies: Unity Catalog, Lakehouse Architecture.
• Good to have: Salesforce, JIRA, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Key Vault, Azure Automation.
