Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Change & Release Management Specialist to join our REMSC ERP CoE team, with a primary focus on SAP environments. The role will be responsible for establishing and managing an effective IT Change & Release Management process in collaboration with IT leadership and stakeholders, ensuring smooth, compliant, and quality-driven release cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement Change & Release Management processes in collaboration with IT leadership for the ERP CoE, focusing on SAP systems.
  • Ensure all releases are delivered in alignment with defined processes; investigate deviations and apply corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Functional Analysts, Service Managers, Business Users, and other stakeholders to plan, validate, and deliver changes as per scope.
  • Work closely with Release Management to ensure smooth deployments and minimal business disruption.
  • Enforce QA checklists and guidelines across all changes/releases, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Create, update, and maintain QA documentation, making it accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Support and facilitate audits on application change management processes.
  • Assist in Control Performance activities to align with established QA and governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in IT Change & Release Management, preferably within SAP ERP environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) methodologies and QA practices.
  • Prior experience in application change and release management within complex IT environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Principal Working Relationships

  • Collaborate with ERP CoE Release Manager, Solution Architects, Domain Managers, Functional Analysts, and Service Managers.
  • Partner with business users and decision-makers to deliver change with minimal risk and maximum value.
  • Engage with audit and QA teams to ensure compliance and control adherence.
