IT Business Analyst - RPA

As an IT Business Analyst - Robotic Process Automation at Medtronic, you'll be a key member of our Hyperautomation team. You'll drive the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Automation Anywhere and/or UI Path, focusing on understanding business challenges, gathering requirements, and designing effective automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. Your expertise in RPA and Hyperautomation will be crucial in delivering valuable automations that empower our employees and services.

A Day in the Life

You will play a pivotal role in enabling digital capabilities across Medtronic by:

• Serving as the primary contact for business stakeholders, translating their goals into automation use cases.
• Participating in automation projects, including setting communication plans, identifying automation needs through workshops, and prototyping sessions.
• Documenting requirements for technical teams and facilitating user acceptance tests and deployment tasks.
• Engaging with IT technical and cross-functional teams to identify optimal solutions.
• Collaborating with IT security, privacy, and quality departments on data privacy and compliance requirements.
• Proactively identifying and driving new automation use cases and data-driven product innovations.
• Supporting the team with analytical and technical skills, effective communication, and a positive mindset.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• 3+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in RPA.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of technical capabilities of RPA.
• Certification from UI Path or Automation Anywhere.
• Extensive experience in gathering, documenting, and challenging business requirements, including creating detailed process maps and user stories.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Good presentation and business process/solution design visualization skills.
• Strong knowledge of Hyperautomation fundamentals, including RPA, AI/ML, and Process Mining.
• Experience as a developer of RPA solutions within UI Path or Automation Anywhere is a plus.
