IT Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst at Medtronic, you'll be a key player in translating business needs into effective IT solutions. You'll work collaboratively with leaders and IT teams to understand strategies, analyze data, and define how technology can improve efficiency and add value across our organization. This role is crucial in helping Medtronic break down barriers to innovation and champion healthcare access in a connected world.

A Day in the Life

You will drive IT solutions and process improvements by:

• Engaging with business leaders to understand how data-driven changes and strategic IT initiatives can improve efficiencies and add value.
• Working with data sets to define compelling use cases that enhance products, processes, and/or services.
• Collaborating with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), business stakeholders, and IT Product Owners/Managers to develop clear and comprehensive business requirements for product or system changes.
• Driving the business agenda throughout the solution delivery process, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
• Analyzing data and trends to develop actionable recommendations for solving business problems.
• Applying strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to all tasks.
• Engaging in cross-functional collaboration to achieve desired results.
• Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
• Effectively communicating with various internal contacts to share information, status, needs, and issues to inform, gain input, and support decision-making.
• Applying your understanding of systems, software, and technological concepts.
• Utilizing your familiarity with data analysis tools and data modeling methodologies.
• Potentially providing guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within the job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• 2+ years of experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent, or an Advanced Degree with 0 years of experience.
