Role & responsibilities

This role is for Enviri Environmental Applications support team and responsible for business analysis relating to project requests.

The demand for digital solutions by the business have continued to increase. This makes the requirement of a business analyst key within the Applications team, as this person will be responsible for working directly with stakeholders to understand their business problems, analysis and document requirements. The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between IT and the business, translating requirements in a way that can be understood by everyone. The Business Analyst will become a direct member of the Business Analysis team and wider project team, participating in meetings to refine requirements for the developers, assist with testing to make sure the requirements are being met and host meetings with the business to demonstrate the applications progress.

Primary Responsibilities and Activities

• Engage with the stakeholders to clearly define their business problem.
• Analyse and clearly document the business problem and requirements.
• Working with the stakeholders to prioritise the captured requirements
• Produce detailed business analysis documentation.
• Problem Statement
• Map Business Processes
• Highlighting Risk Areas
• UI Mockups
• Bridging the gap between IT and the business, you can articulate the requirements so the assigned IT function can deliver a solution that meets the requirements.
• Cost Benefit Analysis to look at when a solution should be build vs buy
• Understand the current application portfolio to identify potential reuse cases
• Work as part of the team delivering the solution to assist with:
• Application Testing
• Business Demo
• Documentation

Preferred candidate profile

• Completed a masters or degree in Business Analysis or completed any other form of relevant higher education qualification in the subject
• Experience
• Resource should have 3 to 5 years of Business Analysis experience
• Knowledge and Skills
• Comprehensive Business Analysis Experience.
• Fully experienced in Requirements Gathering
• Exposure To Business Process Modelling/Mapping
• Cost Benefit Analysis (Build Vs Buy)
• Strong Stakeholder Management
• Previous Experience Of UI Mockups
• Understanding Of Data and Data Structure
• Understanding of Databases, Networks and other Technologies
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Analytical Skills
• Strong Organizational Skills & Time Management
