Who we are looking for
We are looking for an Integrated IT Audit, Vice President, that will provide leadership in executing the strategy for Corporate Audit's coverage of business and technology risks for State Street Investment Management and Corporate Functions (Compliance, Financial Crime, Enterprise Risk Management, and Global Treasury). The main objective of an integrated audit is to provide management with independent, objective assurance regarding the design and operating effectiveness of the system of internal controls to mitigate both business and IT-related risks. The audit follows a collaborative approach, with business and IT team audit members jointly conducting the majority of internal and client-facing planning, control assessment, testing, and reporting activities. Team members work with business auditors to understand business risks and related application input/processing/output controls such as interface controls, electronic authorizations, application parameters and settings, edit checks, business rule mappings, system calculation, application access to sensitive transactions, exception reports, etc. You will be responsible for maintaining effective partnerships with key senior leaders in business and IT organization and program leadership.
In this role you will also support the annual audit planning and development, risk assessment, scoping and execution of audits related to IT processes and risks. The role is based out of Bangalore, India.
Due to role requirements, this position is primarily office-based, employees are expected to work from the office at least 4 days per week, in line with organizational guidelines for hybrid work in India.

What you will be responsible for
As IT Audit, Vice President you will
Participate in the development of a risk-based audit plan through the execution of detailed risk assessments, which consider existing and emerging risks, key strategic initiatives, regulatory requirements / expectations and effectiveness of the control environment.
Review documentation of audit work and conclusion of audit tests results and overall effectiveness of controls.
Draft, review, finalize and communicate audit deliverables, including discussion item matrices, memos and audit reports to senior and executive management.
Manage relationships with senior and executive management through continuous monitoring activities, regular client relationship meetings, participation in working groups and committees of significant business and technology initiatives, and ad-hoc controls advisory activities.
Manage, coach and develop staff, including participating in the talent management, staff evaluation, and new hire processes.
Serve as a technical liaison to Corporate Audit Operational Audit peers.
Stay abreast of industry and technical matters and efficiently and effectively apply applicable new developments in audit projects.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Public Accounting, IT Audit, Consulting, or Technical Application Background, or Technology Risk Management, ideally in the Financial Services industry.
Bachelor's degree, preferable in information systems, computer science, accounting or related field Advanced degree in information technology, cyber security or systems engineering.
One or more industry recognized certification (i.e., CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, and Cloud+) and the willingness to continue to learn and grow.
Proficient or knowledgeable in evaluating and testing internal controls and in applying a risk-based audit approach.
Strong expertise or experience auditing certain technology-related areas such as:
IT General Controls
Automated business process controls
Data Confidentiality and Integrity
Identity and Access Management
Technical Resiliency and Business Continuity Management
Additional requirements
While majority of the time you will work from your primary location, some domestic and international travel may be required to a variety of locations where State Street operates.
