It Asset Management

Role Overview: 

The Asset Management Executive is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of IT assets hardware and software within the organization. This includes inventory management, asset allocation/deallocation, reconciliation, compliance, and software license tracking, ensuring accuracy, audit readiness, and adherence to organizational policies. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  IT Asset Management 

- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, allocation, tracking, maintenance, and disposal) 

- Maintain accurate asset inventory and ensure proper tagging, ownership, and tracking 

- Manage software installation, allocation, and deallocation 

- Track license usage, renewals, and compliance 

- Monitor asset movement across users, locations, project requirement and business units 

- Manage asset recovery and deallocation during employee exit or internal transfers 

 - Ensure Coordination with necessary stakeholders related to Asset procurement

- Manage vendor interactions for procurement and support 

  Inventory Control & Reconciliation 

- Perform periodic reconciliation and physical verification of assets 

- Ensure software license utilisation, renewals, and compliance 

- Maintain software license documentation and reports 

 Reporting ,Compliance & Audit Support 

- Ensure adherence to IT asset policies and SOPs 

- Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and aging 

- Prepare dashboards and MIS reports for management 

 Ensuring  Process Improvement by identifying automation opportunities
