Mission Statement:

We are looking for an Application Manager in the automation domain, who has experience delivering managing the automation solutions based on RPA technologies/tools especially Automation Anywhere. As Application Manager, manage design, build, test and support of automation application understanding the business need and problem statement and working closely with a team of internal and external Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developers/engineers and architects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • The Application Manager is responsible for the technical aspects of the application, including its implementation, operation, and compliance with IT regulations.

  • Manages the day-to-day running of the application, ensuring it is maintained and updated as necessary.

  • Handles interactions with the application vendor, including registration and maintenance of the application's configuration items in ServiceNow.

  • Ensures the application complies with any rules and regulations placed on IT applications.

  • Works closely with the Application Owner to implement priorities and manage trade-offs.

  • Manage the installation, configuration, running, updating, and obsolescence of the applications related to Automation.

  • Set up and track the application roadmap in alignment with IT Enterprise Architecture and Global IT Domains.

  • Oversee service delivery management, including incident, problem, change, and request management.

  • Monitor the application to ensure delivery of agreed service and performance.

  • Control configuration item (CI) data, relationships, and application attributes.

  • Ensure CI data is complete, correct, and up-to-date.

  • Review and update stakeholder and vendor contact data as required.

  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Coordinate development steps and manage the activity plan.

  • Assess feasibility and budget considerations with the Application Owner.

  • Oversee the deployment of the application and ensure it meets acceptance criteria.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's or higher Degree in information systems / computer science or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software/application development, out of which at least 4 years of experience of designing and building RPA solutions based using Automation Anywhere (A2019/A360 experience and certification is must)

  • Experienced in working with SAP 4/HANA/ Microsoft Azure and Power Automate, Workday is an advantage.

  • Expert understanding of RPA development methodologies, Automation opportunity identification and process optimization

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, REST APIs, Python, OCR (IQ Bots), NLP, AI/ML

  • Working knowledge of git, Azure DevOps, Automation Control room set up

  • Architectural approach combined with business-oriented mindset, with good articulation, facilitation and consensus building skills

  • Flexible, able to work independently, provide larger business solutions.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
