Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications (excluding SAP) within the organization
Application Management:
- Collaborate with business users & cross functional teams to understand their requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance.
- Oversee the lifecycle of non-SAP applications, including procurement, implementation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Ensure applications meet business requirements and operate effectively within the organization's IT ecosystem.
- Ensure seamless integration of non-SAP applications with other enterprise systems, including SAP and legacy software.
- Ensure applications adhere to organizational security policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
Support and Troubleshooting:
- Review the pending actions, follow-up and escalate in case of any issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical issues with the help of the vendor.
- Establish and monitor application performance metrics and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of non-SAP applications (e.g., PLM, MES, CRM, HRIS, WMS, etc.).
- Project Management: Proficient in managing large-scale application implementation and integration projects.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and optimize complex systems.
- Communication: very good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business users.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 15-20 years of experience in IT applications management
- Hands-on experience in software Testing / development/project management/ Digital Transformations / IIOT and integrations in a manufacturing/cpg organizations.
Certifications:
- ITIL Certification (preferred)
Performance Metrics:
- Uptime and performance of non-SAP applications.
- Adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Efficiency improvements through process automation and optimization.
